The Ralph Holewinski VFW Post 1518 encourages the community to come together at this year’s Memorial Day Parade to honor, remember and pay tribute to the to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. A heartfelt community celebration will ocurr in the heart of our downtown immediately following the parade. Event times and details are below:

  • 9:15am: Line-up for the Parade by the Subway on Main Street.
  • 10:00am: Parade begins and marches East down Main Street to the Memorial. VFW Post 1518 will lead the Parade, community members will carry the 20’x30′ American Flag. At the Memorial, the VFW will ceremoniously fold the flag, place it on display and proceed with the ceremony. .
  • 10:45 (or shortly after parade): At the Memorial, the Ceremony will begin. Guest speaker Sergeant First Class (Retired) David Hyde. Wreaths will be presented, Rifle Salute and Taps.
